How to become a Christian - Based on St.John 3v16

Relationship - For God so loved the world

God desires to have a loving relationship with each one of us. All of us live our lives to please ourselves, not God, this is what the bible calls sin. Sin stops us from knowing God personally.

Remedy - That he sent his only son

God sent his son Jesus, to show us how to live for God, rather than for ourselves. Jesus took the punishment that we should take for our sin when he died on the cross.

Response -That whoever believes in Him

We need to believe that Jesus died for us and that he rose from the dead.

Reward - Should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus overcame the power of death, and promises to give new, everlasting life to his followers.

You can give your life to Jesus now by praying the following prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I am sorry for living to please myself only, and for excluding you from my life. Please show me how to live for you from this moment onwards. I give my life to you and accept you as the boss of my life. Amen.
