LIFE Groups

What are LIFE groups ?
LIFE stands for Learning, Intimacy, Fellowship and Evangelism. We believe LIFE groups provide a 'Life Link' for God's people to know the Lord in a more intimate way. Meeting as a smaller group, we can have a greater fellowship with one another and reach out to our friends, relatives and neighbours with the Good News of Jesus. We have different LIFE groups on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, usually starting at 8.00pm, meeting together in one anothers' homes.

For those people who prefer a day time meeting, we currently have a group which meets between 12.30pm and 2.00pm on a Thursday. LIFE groups are a great way for newcomers in the church to get to know a small group of people better and for everyone to be cared for.

What happens in a LIFE group ?
Each week, the meeting will have a different emphasis. Sometimes we may discuss in more detail, some points from the Sunday teaching, do some creative activity like write a psalm, or plan events. We will often pray for one another or for different prayer requests that we have been given.

Most meetings have a creative worship time and breaking of bread. Groups regularly arrange social times when we can relax, perhaps eat together and enjoy one another's company. LIFE groups often put on events such as Quiz Nghts, Murder Mystery Evenings and other popular gatherings which almost always seem to involve food !
